Welcome to Fatloss 101. My name Larry Wasserman and I want to welcome you to this site. So who am I and why should you listen to me? I’m a veteran personal trainer, fitness studio owner, boot camp coach, and fitness entrepreneur. If there’s one thing I love to do it’s help people transform and get in awesome shape. I’ve been a personal trainer, coach, and corrective exercise specialist for over a decade. Through this blog, I hope to gain your confidence and earn your trust.
As a coach and trainer, I am frequently assessing my clients to make sure they are getting great results. It’s an ongoing process. When one of my clients achieves their goals such as losing a few pounds or getting stronger, it gets me fired up. Recently I received a phone call from a ski resort in Maine, where one of my clients was away on a vacation. She called just to share with me how happy she was to be able to ski once again. She had not skied in years, the result of a severe knee injury from a bad fall. In addition, she also suffered a back injury from a motorcycle accident. I’m sure you can imagine that being able to ski again after so many years away from the sport (that she loves) was exciting and emotional! She credited her training with me as the number one reason she could ski once again. That’s the power of training correctly.
When I begin working with a new client I look for what I call the “limiting factor”. This is that one main area that prevents someone from being at their best. When it comes to losing fat weight the biggest limiting factor is nutrition. Many people believe that eating less food will result in losing weight. I wish it were that simple, but it’s not. Through this blog I hope to share with you articles, products, recipes, and opinions from myself and other experts about what works and what doesn’t.
My objective is to help you lose fat and get strong. In order to accomplish that you need to exercise and eat in a way that supports metabolism. I’ve been following a handful of fatloss experts for a couple of years, and I’ve found a handful of products and services that I think are well worth sharing. I’ve been in contact with the principals of each of these programs. In short, I’ve done my due diligence to the point that I feel there is real value here. I also want you to know that if you buy any of these products I do in fact earn a small commission. But what’s important to note is that I put my own reputation on the line. So for me each program that I endorse must have true efficacy. Here’s what I look for:
The creator of the product must be a recognized fitness professional with a minimum of five years experience. He or she must have a demonstrated following with a 98% (or better) record of satisfied customers. Their program must be reasonably priced. It must have a money back guarantee, and last but not least must be based on real science so that it can be sustainable over time.
So whether you want to find a super products like Burn the Fat, Feed the Muscle by Tom Venuto, Truth About Abs by Mike Geary, or The Diet Solution by Isabel Del Los Rios or you want to learn as you go from many other experts, you’ll find plenty of information here. I’ll be sharing my own tips and tricks too. As a veteran trainer and fat loss expert I’ve got some “in the trenches experience” and have helped a lot of people get fit. So, I’ll be weighing in and offering product reviews, recipes, and lifestyle recommendations from my own boot camps and personal training studio.
Another component of this site is training. If you want to get a solid rock-hard body you have to train and train hard. In the end you will earn your fit body. So I am going to make sure that you get great advice from some of the experts in this area as well. Maybe you’re a “hard gainer”. Then the man to follow is Vince Delmonte. Check out Vince’s No Nonsense Muscle Building program. And if want to train and shred fat I highly recommend Turbulence Training by Craig Ballantyne. Another excellent program with no equipment needed is Bodyweight Bodybuilding Secrets by Zach Even-Esh.
P.S. Let me know who you are and what you are trying to accomplish. You can write to me at firstname.lastname@example.org
